fish on!

Hey, what's goin' on? Just the same old same old here... The weather is getting better, maybe in the next few days we'll have sunshine! (Or maybe that's just wishful thinking). Jeremiah will be going back to school at the end of August (his last year, YAY!). I am still working at the hotel...

Jeremiah and I went fishing (okay, I just sat there with the camera and laughed at him). The first place we went to (callihan park) we were told to not bother by a fisherman with a boat. the fish were more up-stream and it was packed there. Here are the pictures, enjoy!

Side Story: The gentleman (pictured above) was to our right, he was sport fishing, and seemed to be snagging them even when he didn't want to...! The guy on our left was doing pretty well as well, us? NOT ONE BITE!!! Come to find out the Westerlund's have a "curse" with catching fish! There went dinner!:)

It was a nice day and we had fun despite our bad luck with fishing.


On our way back from Anchorage a few weeks ago, I noticed that our pup had fallen asleep on our pillow, it was soooooooooo cute:

Something else that made me smile is Galen (our conure). I have decided to do something about my weight and have bought an exercise ball, I was using it in the bird's room. Well, I was laying on it so that my head was upside down and pointed at Galen's cage, he didn't seem to understand, so after watching me for a bit he climbed to the top of the cage and then hung completely upside down still watching me, silly bird!!!
